Seriously, it's like the hitters know whats coming with McHugh. He's quickly becoming the #5 starter at best on this team.

I'm guessing he is injured. Just doesn't look right. Bring on Devenski or Hauschild if he is hurt. Speaking of hurt, Peacock's rehab was stopped due to pain. His injury is right on schedule...

I wasn't paying full attention any longer, but at some point Ash and Brown were saying something about Logan Morrison possibly talking about McHugh tipping pitches in the Mariners dugout.

Re: Mariners vs. Astros - Series Thread (June 12-14)

The radio crew said the same thing about the Seattle player seemed to be saying McHugh was tipping his pitches and, in addition,  their take on McHugh was his arm angle was wrong and he couldn't throw...

MCCULLERS WITH A NO-HITTER!!!!!Well, in the 5 innings he pitched. It took him 90 pitches to get there, but 0 H, 0 R!13-0 Astros win!! They are now 23-0 when hitting 2 or more HRs in a game. Of course...

I hate to cross promote threads, but check out Robinson Cano's ranking on my total offensive value list. That's 25 million well spent right there.

I hadn't been that relaxed watching a game, since...... well, Friday :P Save some of those runs for DK! Regarding Cano: he is trash so far this year but may still turn it around. I do think they were...

Re: Mariners vs. Astros - Series Thread (June 12-14)

I get it. Part of our brain wants to slam down on the breaks. Heck, even the front office probably thought 2016 was the season. You have to think Braves fans thought like this in 1991, Rays fans in...

Re: Mariners vs. Astros - Series Thread (June 12-14)

Since the WC and now the extra WC, these teams have gotten by with doing less. The Astros would be even weaker than at least 2 of the 3 teams you mentioned, in my opinion. We don’t have the pitching...

Re: Mariners vs. Astros - Series Thread (June 12-14)

That said, from what I have read, the only teams to ever lead the league in strikeouts, homers and stolen bases (which the astros were last I checked) all won the World Series.

Re: Mariners vs. Astros - Series Thread (June 12-14)

I obviously wasn't comparing those three teams in terms of quality, but in terms of their situation. The Braves were last place in 1990 and the Rays were the same in 2007. The Royals weren't in last...
